Tire Collection
The District operates a free waste-tire recovery program. Tires stored outdoors can hold water and produce large numbers of several mosquito species, some of which are linked to disease transmission. Residents who want waste tires collected or wish to report the location of discarded tires can call our District office (772-562-2393). There is no charge for waste tire pick-up.
The District will not pick up tires generated by commercial entities. Businesses should contact the the county landfill to inquire about tire disposal.
